The work Fisherman Playing The Accordeon by Tjipke Visser was sold in the Nineteen to Now auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,375.00 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tjipke Visser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marabou, which sold at auction in November 2004 for EUR 11,950.00.

Die Arbeit Fisherman Playing The Accordeon von Tjipke Visser wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.375,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tjipke Visser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marabou beobachtet, die im November 2004 für EUR 11.950,00 versteigert wurde.
