A top price for Tjipke Visser - as previously expected
The work Marabou by Tjipke Visser was sold in the 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2004. It changed hands for a price of EUR 11,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Marabou is the most expensive artwork by Tjipke Visser that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Marabou von Tjipke Visser wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 11.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Marabou das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tjipke Visser, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
