The work Three Penguins by Timur Novikov was sold in the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,871.93), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Timur Novikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tank Attack, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 68,500.00 (€ 82,430.58).

Die Arbeit Three Penguins von Timur Novikov wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 36.871,93) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Timur Novikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tank Attack beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 68.500,00 (€ 82.430,58) versteigert wurde.
