Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Timur Novikov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2016. In the Russian Art auction, the work Little blue boy sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,072.91) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Timur Novikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tank Attack, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 68,500.00 (€ 82,430.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Timur Novikov erzielte im November 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Little blue boy für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 25.072,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Timur Novikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tank Attack beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 68.500,00 (€ 82.430,58) versteigert wurde.
