Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A set of four photographs from 'The Forgotten Mysteries of the Time' series by Timur Novikov was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2016. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,899.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Timur Novikov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tank Attack in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 82,430.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A set of four photographs from 'The Forgotten Mysteries of the Time' series von Timur Novikov wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.899,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Timur Novikov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tank Attack im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.500,00 (€ 82.430,58).
