Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Night by Timur Novikov was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,741.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Timur Novikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tank Attack in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 82,430.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Night von Timur Novikov wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.741,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Timur Novikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tank Attack im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.500,00 (€ 82.430,58).
