Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Noon Bowl, 1988 by Tim Storrier was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in April 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 7,380.00 (€ 6,134.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tim Storrier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Night Winds (Capricorn), 2010 in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 56,500.00 (€ 65,837.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Noon Bowl, 1988 von Tim Storrier wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 7.380,00 (€ 6.134,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
