Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work A sailor in a blue jacket by Thorvald Niss for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 3,670.69). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by Thorvald Niss have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2024 by the work Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun at DKK 6,500.00 (€ 5,680.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A sailor in a blue jacket von Thorvald Niss für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 3.670,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Thorvald Niss wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2024 die Arbeit Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun mit DKK 6.500,00 (€ 5.680,83).
