Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Winther landscape by Thorvald Niss was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,050.00 (€ 917.67). Admittedly, works by Thorvald Niss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 5,680.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Winther landscape von Thorvald Niss im Januar 2024 bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.050,00 (€ 917,67) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thorvald Niss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 5.680,83).
