However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas van Apshoven - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scène De Réjouissances Dans Une Taverne, D'Après David Teniers, which sold at auction in November 2020 for EUR 19,500.00.

Die Arbeit The Kermesse of Saint George with peasants feasting before an inn von Thomas van Apshoven wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas van Apshoven mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scène De Réjouissances Dans Une Taverne, D'Après David Teniers beobachtet, die im November 2020 für EUR 19.500,00 versteigert wurde.
