In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners, which included the work Peasants Playing Ball Games In A Village Landscape by Thomas van Apshoven. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,347.15), 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas van Apshoven - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scène De Réjouissances Dans Une Taverne, D'Après David Teniers, which sold at auction in November 2020 for EUR 19,500.00.

Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peasants Playing Ball Games In A Village Landscape von Thomas van Apshoven zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.347,15) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas van Apshoven mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scène De Réjouissances Dans Une Taverne, D'Après David Teniers beobachtet, die im November 2020 für EUR 19.500,00 versteigert wurde.
