A top price for Thomas Spencer - as previously expected
The work Flying Childers by Thomas Spencer was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 62,048.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Flying Childers is the most expensive artwork by Thomas Spencer that we have observed at auctions so far.
