Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Grisebach held the auction Herbst 2021 - Sammlung Berliner Sparkasse, which included the work „(S) Nr. 132“. by Thomas Scheibitz. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 24,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Scheibitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Douglas in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 307,200.00 (€ 253,068.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Herbst 2021 - Sammlung Berliner Sparkasse durch, in der auch die Arbeit „(S) Nr. 132“. von Thomas Scheibitz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 24.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 25.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Scheibitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Douglas im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 307.200,00 (€ 253.068,62).
