Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Locher could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Open House auction, the work A1-F6 changed hands for USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,201.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Locher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1-25, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,627.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Locher konnte im Juli 2007 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Open House wechselte die Arbeit A1-F6 für USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.201,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Locher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1-25 beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.627,31) versteigert wurde.
