This artwork by Thomas Locher achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2019. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work 1-11 sold for EUR 6,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Thomas Locher; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 1-25 sold at auction in July 2007 with the realized price of USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,627.31).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Locher erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit 1-11 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Thomas Locher; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit 1-25 im Juli 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.627,31).
