Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Phillips in London held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work Four works: At the World's Edge - The Solar Eclipse Suite, Cornwall, England by Thomas Joshua Cooper. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,213.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Joshua Cooper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unexpected Nightfall- The Mid North Atlantic Ocean, Porto Moniz, The Island of Madeira (Near the North-most point of the Island), Portugal in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,270.27).

Im März 2009 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four works: At the World's Edge - The Solar Eclipse Suite, Cornwall, England von Thomas Joshua Cooper zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.213,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Joshua Cooper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unexpected Nightfall- The Mid North Atlantic Ocean, Porto Moniz, The Island of Madeira (Near the North-most point of the Island), Portugal im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.270,27).
