Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,791.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Hoepker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Muhammad Ali showing off his right Fist, Chicago, 1966. Original-Photographie., which sold at auction in December 2016 for CHF 20,900.00 (€ 19,493.73).

Die Arbeit Muhammed Ali with fist, Chicago von Thomas Hoepker kam im Mai 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.791,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%.
