It achieved a price of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,810.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Hearne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegant figures rowing on the the River Wear before Lumley Castle in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 12,925.00 (€ 21,669.06).
