Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work The secluded pool by Thomas Edwin Mostyn for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,791.79). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Edwin Mostyn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a green and gold dress in September 2003 with an auction result of GBP 39,950.00 (€ 40,240.55).

Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The secluded pool von Thomas Edwin Mostyn für USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.791,79) erwerben. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a green and gold dress im September 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 39.950,00 (€ 40.240,55).
