Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reclining female nude by Thomas Cantrell Dugdale was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in July 2004. The price achieved of GBP 1,195.00 (€ 1,805.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Cantrell Dugdale achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Algernon Talmage, Robin Feild, A.K. Browning and Edith Leppard on a summer's afternoon at Bossinney Court, Cornwall in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,249.45).
