This artwork by Thomas Cantrell Dugdale achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2000. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work From Tel El Ful sold for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,440.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Cantrell Dugdale achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Algernon Talmage, Robin Feild, A.K. Browning and Edith Leppard on a summer's afternoon at Bossinney Court, Cornwall in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,249.45).
