Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Silversmith, Probably Christian Van Vianen (1600–67) by Thomas de Keijzer was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 437,000.00 (€ 619,519.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
