Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900, which included the work Five Men Seated At A Table, With Payment Being Noted In A Ledger, Set Within A Decorative Frame by Thomas de Keijzer. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas de Keijzer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a silversmith, thought to be Christian van Vianen, seated full-length, in brown costume and a black hat, holding a drawing and a salt-cellar, at a carpeted table in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 644,650.00 (€ 997,127.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five Men Seated At A Table, With Payment Being Noted In A Ledger, Set Within A Decorative Frame von Thomas de Keijzer zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a silversmith, thought to be Christian van Vianen, seated full-length, in brown costume and a black hat, holding a drawing and a salt-cellar, at a carpeted table im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 644.650,00 (€ 997.127,56).
