Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Baia di Napoli 1857 by Thomas Charles Leeson Rowbotham was sold in the Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri auction at Il Ponte in April 2018. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 330.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Charles Leeson Rowbotham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Veduta di Benares, 1872 in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 17,360.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Baia di Napoli 1857 von Thomas Charles Leeson Rowbotham wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 330,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 350,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Charles Leeson Rowbotham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Veduta di Benares, 1872 im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.360,00.
