It achieved a price of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 27,083.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Blinks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waiting For The Guns in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 564,000.00 (€ 417,159.76).

Die Arbeit On the scent von Thomas Blinks wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 27.083,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Blinks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waiting For The Guns im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 564.000,00 (€ 417.159,76).
