In January 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Portrait Of Elizabeth, Lady Craven (Later Margravine Of Anspach) by Thomas Beach. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,364.51), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Beach - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four portraits of the children of William and Elizabeth Helyar: Joanna, aged 8; Harriet, aged 11; Edward, aged 18; and Bridget, aged 13, which sold at auction in December 2018 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,207.88).

Im Januar 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Elizabeth, Lady Craven (Later Margravine Of Anspach) von Thomas Beach zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.364,51) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Beach mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four portraits of the children of William and Elizabeth Helyar: Joanna, aged 8; Harriet, aged 11; Edward, aged 18; and Bridget, aged 13 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.207,88) versteigert wurde.
