It achieved a price of GBP 119,700.00 (€ 132,916.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thierry De Cordier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tempête En Mer Du Nord, Étude No. 3, which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 380,750.00 (€ 434,129.53).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 119.700,00 (€ 132.916,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Für andere Arbeiten von Thierry De Cordier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tempête En Mer Du Nord, Étude No. 3 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für GBP 380.750,00 (€ 434.129,53) versteigert wurde.
