Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work At the Circus by Therese Lessore was sold in the Modern British Art auction at Christies in London in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,516.16). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Therese Lessore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Orchestra, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,859.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit At the Circus von Therese Lessore wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.516,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Therese Lessore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Orchestra beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.859,51) versteigert wurde.
