Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women, which included the work Haute Ecole by Therese Lessore. The price achieved of GBP 2,816.00 (€ 2,816.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Therese Lessore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Orchestra, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,859.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women durch, in der auch die Arbeit Haute Ecole von Therese Lessore zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.816,00 (€ 2.816,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Therese Lessore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Orchestra beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.859,51) versteigert wurde.
