Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Acrobats and Clowns by Therese Lessore was sold in the Modern British Art auction at Christies in London in September 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,102.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Therese Lessore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Orchestra in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,859.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Acrobats and Clowns von Therese Lessore wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.102,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Therese Lessore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Orchestra im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.859,51).
