This artwork by Theofrastos Triantafyllidis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Olympia in May 2007. In the British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art auction, the work Women Working In An Interior sold for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,180.58) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Theofrastos Triantafyllidis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Landscape in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 37,353.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Theofrastos Triantafyllidis erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art wurde die Arbeit Women Working In An Interior für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.180,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Theofrastos Triantafyllidis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Landscape im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 37.353,36).
