Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Flock Of Sheep In Menidi by Theofrastos Triantafyllidis. The price achieved of GBP 17,300.00 (€ 24,224.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Theofrastos Triantafyllidis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Greek Landscape was auctioned for GBP 29,300.00 (€ 37,353.36).
