A top price for Theofrastos Triantafyllidis - as previously expected
In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Landscape by Theofrastos Triantafyllidis. It changed hands for a price of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 37,353.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Theofrastos Triantafyllidis that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Landscape von Theofrastos Triantafyllidis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 37.353,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Greek Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Theofrastos Triantafyllidis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
