Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fans by Theodoros Stamos was auctioned at Bonhams in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,240.00 (€ 9,292.20). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodoros Stamos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Divide in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 437,000.00 (€ 321,181.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fans von Theodoros Stamos kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.240,00 (€ 9.292,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodoros Stamos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Divide im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.000,00 (€ 321.181,83).
