Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Infinity Field Lefkada Series by Theodoros Stamos was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 57,550.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Theodoros Stamos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Divide in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 437,000.00 (€ 321,181.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Infinity Field Lefkada Series von Theodoros Stamos kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 57.550,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Theodoros Stamos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Divide im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.000,00 (€ 321.181,83).
