Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 22,325.00 (€ 34,269.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pseudo-Simons - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grapes on the vine, plums, apples, pears and other fruit and flowers all in a wicker basket, a red squirrel eating acorns, a partially peeled lemon on a silver dish with cherries, oranges and figs on a stone table ledge; and Grapes on the vine, plums, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 47,800.00 (€ 73,935.78).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.325,00 (€ 34.269,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24%.
