Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Virgin With The Sleeping Christ Child by The Master with the Parrot was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,919.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by The Master with the Parrot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Mary Magdalene Before A Curtain Supported By Angels In An Architectural Niche in June 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 982,235.08).

Die Arbeit Virgin With The Sleeping Christ Child von The Master with the Parrot kam im Juli 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.919,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von The Master with the Parrot erzielen.
