Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Virgin And Child In A Landscape (The Rest On The Flight Into Egypt) by The Master with the Parrot was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 46,532.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by The Master with the Parrot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Mary Magdalene Before A Curtain Supported By Angels In An Architectural Niche in June 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 982,235.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Virgin And Child In A Landscape (The Rest On The Flight Into Egypt) von The Master with the Parrot kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 46.532,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von The Master with the Parrot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Mary Magdalene Before A Curtain Supported By Angels In An Architectural Niche im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.426.500,00 (€ 982.235,08).
