olio su tavola, sommità centinata, entro cornice intagliata e dorata
40.4 x 27.8 cm.
sul retro bollo frammentario in ceralacca rossa, bolli frammentari in ceralacca antica verde, iscrizione 'Alli 15 luglio' e iscrizione su frammento di carta presumbilmente dei secoli XIX o XX che riferisce il dipinto all'ambito di Jan Gossaert, il Mabuse o a Bernard van Orley.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Madonna con Bambino e un pappagallo by The Master with the Parrot was sold in the DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI auction at Christies in Rome in December 2004. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 24,800.00 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by The Master with the Parrot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Mary Magdalene Before A Curtain Supported By Angels In An Architectural Niche in June 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,426,500.00 (€ 982,235.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Madonna con Bambino e un pappagallo von The Master with the Parrot wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 24.800,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von The Master with the Parrot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Mary Magdalene Before A Curtain Supported By Angels In An Architectural Niche im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.426.500,00 (€ 982.235,08).
