The work Falcon God by Thawan Duchanee was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 73,281.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Thawan Duchanee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scream of Sorrowful in November this year with an auction result of HKD 6,048,000.00 (€ 709,702.97).

Die Arbeit Falcon God von Thawan Duchanee kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 73.281,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thawan Duchanee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scream of Sorrowful im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.048.000,00 (€ 709.702,97).
