Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale, which included this untitled work by Tetsuya Ishida. It changed hands for a price of HKD 6,250,000.00 (€ 707,943.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 4,500,000.00 – 6,500,000.00. Other works by Tetsuya Ishida have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July last year the work The Men On A Belt Conveyor was auctioned for HKD 8,064,000.00 (€ 1,006,221.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tetsuya Ishida zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 6.250.000,00 (€ 707.943,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 4.500.000,00 – 6.500.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tetsuya Ishida konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli letzten Jahres die Arbeit The Men On A Belt Conveyor für HKD 8.064.000,00 (€ 1.006.221,53) versteigert.
