Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work TOYOTA IPSUM by Tetsuya Ishida was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,420,000.00 (€ 390,517.98). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tetsuya Ishida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Men On A Belt Conveyor, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 8,064,000.00 (€ 1,006,221.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit TOYOTA IPSUM von Tetsuya Ishida kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.420.000,00 (€ 390.517,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tetsuya Ishida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Men On A Belt Conveyor beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 8.064.000,00 (€ 1.006.221,53) versteigert wurde.
