Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tetsuya Ishida achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Prisoner(Painted in 1999) sold for HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 492,079.73) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tetsuya Ishida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Men On A Belt Conveyor, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 8,064,000.00 (€ 1,006,221.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tetsuya Ishida erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Prisoner(Painted in 1999) für HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 492.079,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tetsuya Ishida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Men On A Belt Conveyor beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 8.064.000,00 (€ 1.006.221,53) versteigert wurde.
