The work Lost by Tetsuya Ishida was worth HKD 437,500.00 (€ 40,547.09) to a buyer in December 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tetsuya Ishida achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Men On A Belt Conveyor in July last year with an auction result of HKD 8,064,000.00 (€ 1,006,221.53).

Die Arbeit Lost von Tetsuya Ishida war einem Käufer im Dezember 2008 HKD 437.500,00 (€ 40.547,09) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tetsuya Ishida erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Men On A Belt Conveyor im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.064.000,00 (€ 1.006.221,53).
