The work Body Fluids by Tetsuya Ishida was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 341,980.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tetsuya Ishida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Men On A Belt Conveyor, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 8,064,000.00 (€ 1,006,221.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Body Fluids von Tetsuya Ishida kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 341.980,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tetsuya Ishida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Men On A Belt Conveyor beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 8.064.000,00 (€ 1.006.221,53) versteigert wurde.
