Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Derbyshire Landscape; And Flowers by Terry Lee for GBP 120.00 (€ 175.16). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures and Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Terry Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flower study in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 669.75 (€ 962.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Derbyshire Landscape; And Flowers von Terry Lee für GBP 120,00 (€ 175,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Prints bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terry Lee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flower study im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 669,75 (€ 962,47).
