Auction result misses estimated price range

In the The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation auction, the work Central Park South, New York changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,609.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ted Croner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Taxi, New York, which sold at auction in 2009 for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,916.10).
