Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Three Boys by Tay Chee Toh. It changed hands for a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,266.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Other works by Tay Chee Toh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Girl In Hammock was auctioned for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,686.90).

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Boys von Tay Chee Toh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.266,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tay Chee Toh konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Girl In Hammock für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.686,90) versteigert.
