Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Serenity by the River by Tay Bak Koi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,823.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tay Bak Koi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Harmony in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 71,143.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Serenity by the River von Tay Bak Koi kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.823,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tay Bak Koi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Golden Harmony im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 71.143,20).
