The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,450.00 (€ 10,589.29), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tatsuo Miyajima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work T.L. SAKURA in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,900,000.00 (€ 286,529.61).

Die Arbeit K.C.C.G/Y-3 von Tatsuo Miyajima wurde im August 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art| London bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 10.589,29) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tatsuo Miyajima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit T.L. SAKURA im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.900.000,00 (€ 286.529,61).
